The Founder of Brahma Kumaris
In 1937 a spiritual revolution began in India.
Dada Lekhraj was a prosperous diamond merchant in India.
At the age of 60, he had a vision of the bright light of the Supreme Soul. This changed his life. He was named Brahma Baba.
The Supreme Soul gave Brahma Baba the goal to make himself pure and divine. He became an instrument to help others do the same.
Brahma Baba, his family and friends dedicated their lives and wealth to open a university, named Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.
Brahma Baba was not a guru or saint. He was the first dedicated student of the University.
